The Military University of Technology joins the group of industry patrons for INSECON 2024!

The Military University of Technology has joined the ranks of industry patrons for the International Congress on Cybersecurity INSECON, which will take place on April 15-16, 2024, in Poznań. This partnership highlights the importance of collaboration between academic institutions and key initiatives in the field of cybersecurity. Specialists from the Military University of Technology will have the opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, contributing to the development and security of the digital space.

 

The Military University of Technology (WAT) is a public university supervised by the Minister of National Defense. WAT serves the Polish Armed Forces and economy by educating cadets and students as well as by conducting scientific and R&D works in science, technology, engineering, and social sciences, in particular, in the field of military and security technologies.

For years, the Military University of Technology has been ranked among the best technical universities in Poland. It also leads in rankings of the ratio of academic teachers to students. The university is distinguished by its innovative approach to education, high level of teaching, qualified academic teachers, very well-equipped laboratories, a wide range of study programs, also in English, and interesting development opportunities.

The Military University of Technology prepares high-class specialists for the Polish Armed Forces. WAT offers military studies in 13 fields of study, including electronics and telecommunications, security engineering, cryptology, and cybersecurity.

WAT also offers first- and second-degree civilian studies in more than 30 fields of study and studies in English in the fields of aeronautics and astronautics, mechatronics chemistry, data science, geodesy and geoinformatics, electronics and telecommunication, material engineering, mechanical engineering.

 

Graduates of civilian studies find employment in many sectors of the economy, both in state and private companies, in Poland and abroad. According to the latest ranking of the National Salary Survey, WAT graduates are among the top-earning graduates of technical public universities.

During INSECON, WAT will present its education offer in first- and second-level studies, as well as the MBA postgraduate studies carried out at the WAT Faculty of Cybernetics, addressed to those wishing to improve their management skills related to widely understood cybersecurity. At WAT’s stand, two cyber technologies will be presented: BotTROP – a system for detecting bots in a corporate network, and RPaSDT – analytical software for determining the source of false information and how it spreads on social media.
