Ministers at INSECON 2025 – Key Discussions on Cybersecurity
The IN.SEC.ON 2025 Congress will bring together leading cybersecurity experts and key government officials who are shaping Poland's digital security strategy. This year's edition is the venue for top-level debates about national and international cybersecurity, investment in innovation and defense strategies in the face of growing threats.
The 2nd International Cyber Security Congress IN.SE.CON will be opened, as during the 1st edition, by Cezary Tomczyk, Secretary of State at the Ministry of National Defense.
Krzysztof Gawkowski, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digitization, will discuss the main assumptions of the Republic of Poland's Cyber Security Strategy for 2025-2029, pointing out priorities in protecting against cyber threats and building digital resilience. He will discuss measures to increase the resilience of Poland's critical infrastructure and sectors of strategic importance to the country. He will highlight building a comprehensive cybersecurity system in various areas - from public administration to the private sector. Krzysztof Paszyk, Minister of Development and Technology, meanwhile, will focus on investment in innovation. He will present the role of the European Digital Innovation Hubs, which are important centers for supporting the development of new technologies, as well as promoting cooperation between startups, technology companies and public institutions. Minister Paszyk will emphasize how these hubs contribute to modern solutions for data protection, safeguards against hacking attacks and building a secure digital environment, where innovation and technology play a key role in ensuring the stability and protection of national infrastructure.
The main stage program will also cover a wide range of key topics, including Shield East - the fortification of NATO's eastern flank in the shadow of the war in Ukraine, the use of artificial intelligence in cyber security, and the latest cybersecurity regulations. Representatives from government, the armed forces, business and international experts will participate in the discussions, analyzing the most pressing challenges in the field of cyber defense.
