Information security in practice - Military Communications Institute supports the congress
Cyber security requires the cooperation of top experts and access to state-of-the-art technologies. That's why the International Cyber Security Congress is gaining a unique partner - the Military Communications Institute - National Research Institute has assumed industry patronage of the event. The WI³ is one of the leading research centers in the field of information protection, cryptography and cyber defense. Its knowledge and experience provide invaluable value to congress participants who face digital security challenges on a daily basis.
The Military Communications Institute - National Research Institute is a research unit subordinate to the Minister of Defense, operating continuously since 1951. The institute specializes in information security, providing innovative cryptographic solutions and protection systems against cyber attacks.
WI³ is a leading developer of encryption devices and systems, and its technologies have received numerous cryptographic protection certifications. About half of the devices of this type certified in Poland were developed at the Institute. Among the unit's achievements are internationally awarded solutions such as the hardware random string generator and the IP-Krypto system.
In addition to cryptography, the Institute also conducts research in electromagnetic protection of information and defense of ICT networks against cyber-attacks. It has one of the most modern Cyber Attack Analysis Laboratories in Poland and carries out numerous international projects, often in cooperation with NATO and the European Defense Agency.
JI³'s experts regularly participate in global cyber exercises and experiments, allowing them to test new technologies in conditions similar to real threats. The institute also organizes its own international conferences to present the latest developments in military communications systems and information technology.
